    Dylan Sent To Coventry

McGeouch had a fair few starts at Celtic but not sure he was quite good enough...see how he gets on in England where he will team up with big Andy Webster and that useless wee H** fud John Fleck.

McGeouch has joined Coventry City on loan until the end of this season, where he will team up with Celtic defender, Steven Pressley, who is manager of the club. Coventry City are currently 11th in League One in England.

Dylan made his debut for the Hoops at Fir Park against Motherwell back in November 2011, coming on as a substitute in a 2-1 win. Hes made 26 first-team appearances, scoring two goals.

Coventry playing in front of 2k crowds with home games in Northampton...pretty sad but that's what can happen if you don't own your own ground!!

How would you know if this guy is good enough Pogue? He's barely had a kick.

Looks like a guy with ability but sadly let down by the lack of faith Celtic managers have in bringing through players from the youth system.

Considering Celtic are generally the best U20s side, the stifling of a number of those players in recent times is damnable.

I am all for giving the young players a chance but they have to prove to be good enough...Dylan has played about 20 games for Celtic and is he any better than first team regulars in his position??

He is only going on loan and regular fitba will do him good.

As for "damnable" how many of the so called "best U20's side" have made a career at a decent level after leaving Celtic??

That said I think Watt & McGregor who are both out on loan should have been given more of a chance.

Celtic are not Hearts or Rangers who are financially fecked so have to play young players...they wont be "stifled"

Ive been saying this for years, you have to have faith and back a young player at the right moment, a few games here and there are useless you decide if hes good enough and you play him a run of games and dont drop him if he has a bad game or 2, you make good players only the exceptions are ready to play
