    Congratulations Carlton

The dubious goals panel has awarded him the Newcastle goal, taking his West Ham United career tally up to 64.

In the last 25 years that makes him our all time leading scorer.

He also needs just 2 more to move above Julian ****s which would take him to 15th on our overall scorers list.

Not bad for a player many dislike.

could eventually catch up with Vic Watson in about 30 years

a very difficult player to dislike and a hopeless 1 to worship.

    173 games, 87 subs. 64 goals.

    1 goal every 4 games.

Not really that bad is it.

His previous goals wont count. It will go on goals scored over the last 25 seasons. Still 14 games left in this so Cole could add more.

    ok thanks for that.

I have always liked him. OK he wasnt a gary Linnekar in front of goal, but , he was one of the more honest of modern day footballers. My opinion only.

Was not aware i had said he was.

1 in 4 is a half decent return for a striker who is mostly regarded as no good and who has never really been seen as our main striker.

Top of the list for the last 25 years and 16th overall. He deserves some praise.

The most prolific striker in my lifetime. I have never seen a player score more goals for West Ham. FACT

Never gonna be a top class striker, but I can't help but like the bloke

He only needs to add one more year to his contract and he'll be due a testimonial for the first game in the Olympic Stadium
