We'll deserved victory for the Dons today

And I think it's good for Scottish football that silverware gets around. This may be the start of the reawakening of Aberdeen, a club that's been without silverware for what seems an age for this once mighty club.

Second in the top flight and in the latter stages for both cups - more than most would have predicted at start of the season I think.

They could have buckled having gone behind so early in the game away to Celtic but they knuckled down to it and ran out deserving winners in the end

Amazed to learn that the last time Aberdeen were beaten by Celtic in the cup at Celtic Park was 1951.

Celtic were handicapped by having Neil Lennon as manager.

Celtic are a better team than Aberdeen as demnostrated by their clinching of the SPFL title so early in the season. But, today, Aberdeen had the better strategy and Celtic were disorganised.

    Lennon must go.

What kind of trumpet would bring his nationality or creed into it?

Cup games always have the chance of a team lower in the league winning, but Lennon was out thought and his team outfought yesterday.

The Dons were clearly up for it, Celtic seemed less so. Surprised that Celtics midfield which was getting a lesson after about 20 minutes wasn't changed and that was down to Lennon. As was Celtics zonal marking that Aberdeen exploited

    Makes for an intriguing cup.

How are your team doing in the cup, aguyiknow and why did you put an apostrophe in "We'll" in the thread title?

You've been missing the wee slip ups he's made when trying to remain neutral. I know what team he supports.
