I was spitting feathers yesterday Alf listening to LBC, the presenter was all for giving aid abroad and sorting the floods out in this country, also he was as good as laughing at phone in folk saying charity starts at home.

What nobody said was that sooner or later with all this charity for so called worse off countries we give, there will be phuck all left in the coffers for ourselves.

Regardless of MP's saying we are recovering we are still in deep $h!t and have a long way to go before we get back on top, if ever we do.

I'm still in the frame of mind that it's all going to go tits up sooner or later.

Arguments rumble on that dredging isn't the full answer, BUT IT IS A BIT OF THE ANSWER AND I BET IT IS A BIG BIT OF THE ANSWER

Cameron says

"Money is no object in this relief effort," according to David Cameron, who has promised to provide support for the beleaguered communities affected by the floods. Hammond this morning...'5000 troops on standby including specialist engineers to conduct a thorough survey of the UK's structural problems due to the floods. Normally this would take 2 years, but we are doing it in 5 weeks'

This lot get worse...why pay for it when the troops (who they've shafted) can do it for free...again (Olympics).
