    Its grim up north

But its even grimmer down south.. more to come as well.. the Thames is turning into a lake at Henley.. this government will do phuck all to help our own,but just wait till the next mini disaster abroad,we will be sending billions in aid and all the expert help they need..

Remember the Philipines when we sent the sniffer dogs over, the local guy said "thank you for the food we really do appreciate it"

I was spitting feathers yesterday Alf listening to LBC, the presenter was all for giving aid abroad and sorting the floods out in this country, also he was as good as laughing at phone in folk saying charity starts at home.

What nobody said was that sooner or later with all this charity for so called worse off countries we give, there will be phuck all left in the coffers for ourselves.

Regardless of MP's saying we are recovering we are still in deep $h!t and have a long way to go before we get back on top, if ever we do.

I'm still in the frame of mind that it's all going to go tits up sooner or later.

They are seriously flapping now...every Tom, **** and Harry are giving it to them...even the Tory loyalists in leafy suburbia.

The sooner they are gone the better...everything on the cheap.

I was saying this the other day too

Brussels dictate we have to do so much and the Phillipines disaster got millions in the blink of an eye before as it was happening

Too many weeks have gone by and nowt. The enviromental secretary says there is funds being made available

Arguments rumble on that dredging isn't the full answer, BUT IT IS A BIT OF THE ANSWER AND I BET IT IS A BIG BIT OF THE ANSWER

I sometimes think these politicians aren't British and are the real enemy within

    Cameron says

"Money is no object in this relief effort," according to David Cameron, who has promised to provide support for the beleaguered communities affected by the floods. Speaking on Tuesday evening, the prime minister, who had returned to London following a two-day tour of the England's flood-hit areas, warned that the recovery would be a "long haul", but promised, "Whatever money is needed for it will be spent".

Hammond this morning...'5000 troops on standby including specialist engineers to conduct a thorough survey of the UK's structural problems due to the floods. Normally this would take 2 years, but we are doing it in 5 weeks'

This lot get worse...why pay for it when the troops (who they've shafted) can do it for free...again (Olympics).
