To be fair AJ there's a part of Scotland the Tories have a lot of voters..horses and fox ***ting area springs to mind..

It's also connected to the better together campaign...

I'm sure the further north you go the better the results will be for the yes vote..

That result didn't surprise me in that area..it's getting closer but I'm giving it more time to post some benefits why we should be independent...like the Mccrone report from the 70s..that only became public no that long ago..2005..
Have a look mate tell me what you think..would be interested to know..
If you don't mind of course..

Is wanting to remain part of the UK not Nationalism too?

I left school 4 years ago and if I remember correctly it was about 80% in favour of independence. Smart bunch of pupils!

I will, Buc. That's a few schools now, from Fife to Dumfries, that have overwhelmingly voted in favour of the Union. And they are not kids. Over two thirds of them are eligible to vote.

I'm a Unionist and I'm voting No because I love and care about Scotland as much as the biggest Yes voter you know, not because I hate Scotland. I read the McCrone report and with all due respect, Buc, it was written 40 years ago. An interesting part of it was, by McCrone's admission, that Scotland faced disaster if the price of oil ever dropped dramatically. Things aren't great just now but I don't buy in to this idea that everything will be rosy in an independent Scotland. You should have a look at the better together website, Buc, lots of interesting stuff on there.

I don't believe that everything will be rosy in the union either.

I'm glad that you are actually not stooping to the insults that come thick and fast on her about 'Hamishes' and 'brigadoon'.

If you truly believe that Scotland will be a better place inside the union then by all means vote no.
