Forest beat derby and Leicester in popularity pole.

Who would you most like to play next year was the question..Nottingham Forest was the answer, surprise surprise. Club with history, great city day out , nice compact ground, quality fans who know football, and a team that likes to play football... - view external link

    Well hardly surprising is it?
Obviously there must be loads of fans living in the past, up and down the country who remember and miss us.
Escapades in europe, league cup domination, what's not to like.
Obviously it's not as big a draw as being the oldest league football club. Nothing could ever top that.

    We're not famous anymore!

But we all know we're the big club in the East Midlands.

Let's ask all fans from the prem and championship, apart from the 4 clubs mentioned, who do like the most...norwich city, soithampton, man u or leeds...in football its more of a sign of respect to be disliked instead of liked. so its nothing to do with the city etc..your obviosly seen as a nothing club in the wider world and theybwould never see you as their rivals...then again maybe youve got more fans outside of the club than your total support inside ha ha

I think a lot of it is because you haven't been in the prem for so long the teams are thinking it would be nice to have you up there for once. Bit of a change.
