Heard a discussion about this on the radio yesterday from an Irish journalist. He pointed out that one of those mentioned in the song planted a bomb that killed, a**** others, a 10 year old girl. Not really someone to be glorified in song.

The fella was a Cliftonville supporter and said they don't really have much problem with these songs at games over there any more, it just seems to be over here. He also said that people who go on about these things are known as 'Ceasefire soldiers', which I found quite appropriate.

The thing that shocks me is the lack of condemnation from media, politicians or anti-sectarian organisations.

Republicans in Scotland don't seem to have to be accountable to anything. They'll claim any criticism is anti-irish racism or anti catholic sectarianism. Make no mistake their stunts have nothing to do with religion, being Irish or football. This is promoting/remembering militant republicanism who were responsible for the death of thousands in recent years.

This is woven so deeply into the fabric in West of Scotland we see stuff like the flyer below being tolerated without a hint of condemnation. A fricking school...AK-47 machine guns. Jezo...

These people genuinely claim that any protest against what they do is anti-Irish racism!!! Come on, this isn't Guinness and luck of the irish...it's fricking Machine Guns!!!

Anyway, Spiers in his disgusting article below claims that anyone who is offended by this stuff are just pathetic
