dont think so.
if they did rangers would be fielding a strong team every year to win it.
it died a death in the 70,s and became mainly a reserve competition.

not sure about first and last glasgow cup game, although celtic did beat rangers in the 1981 or 1982 competition, but both teams played thier reserves. not sure if that was the last game, think thier might have been 1 or 2 after that.

I was meaning the first one ever.
That rascal WangOneIn just confused matters there.
Just looking at a list and it seems Rangers didn't win until the tenth game!

The 1st game was a friendly with celtic winning 5-2 both teams and directors went back to St.Mary's halls for tea after the match
