There are two fkin teams in that city - what on earth possesses people to support Celtic?
Reeks of lowest-common denominator stuff.[/quote]The Irish never left, ken. Couldn't put any numbers on it, but plenty Celtic fans in Dundee, or Lochee, if you want to be more accurate.
There's a misconception that there's a 'huge Celtic support in Dundee'.Originally Posted by RustySpanner

As far as I'm aware, there's two perhaps three coaches leave Dundee for Celtic Park on home match days.
So let's say that's 120 fans.
120 folk out of a city of 140,000 isn't a huge support.
If somebody is seriously going to include people that own a Celtic jersey but don't go to the games, then that's another debate about what constitutes a fan.
But I'd seriously doubt if there's many more than 120 Celtic fans that go along to a meaningful amount of games per season.
