McMahon tried to buy them a few years ago I believe. Newcastle supporters supposedly aren't happy with their ownership. Wishing a change in ownership is always one of those "grass is always greener" type situations. There are few fanbases that believe the club is performing to its capabilities. Sometimes a change works, sometimes it doesn't.

McMahon may come across as a buffoon on television but he must be one smart cookie to create a billion dollar industry of what is essentially a circus side show!

Mike Ashley has been for some time public enemy number one, fans have been vocal about his ownership. Renaming the ground and calling it "The Sports Direct Arena" hadn't helped his cause. I think it is back to it's former now. I don't follow WWE, so can't say i recognise McMahon's. As a previous poster rightly stated "be careful what you wish for", as the grass isn't always greener on the other side.
