    How to shut a CyberNaz1 up in one easy lesson

    a€śWhat a ------ Bowie has turned out to be. What gives him the right to tell Scotland what to do when he doesna€™t even pay taxes over here,a€ť

    Same as what gives Shir Shean Connery the right to tell Scotland what to do - view external link

    It curious how the No supporting papers continue to bring up 'online abuse' from yes supporters yet are strangely silent about no supporter abuse.

    To be honest, if Sean Connery or David Bowie even enter your head when considering how to vote - you are a f*cking idiot.

    ...and Bowie didn't tell anyone what to do.

    I actually found it quite touching that Bowie was thinking about us. He probably belongs to a sincere demograph of English people who aren't really clued up on the nuances of the referendum.

    [quote="BertrandRussell" you mean?

    You're right the referendum just involves one group of lads shouting yes and another group of lads shouting no. There is absolutely nothing else to it.

    It's interesting that the yes side have been banging on for months that the polls weren't an accurate reflection of public opinion but as soon as one shows more favourable results the they are all over it. For a start that survey still gave the no side a healthy 7 point lead and it's its worth noting that since then their has been 5 or 6 polls published that show the no side ahead by between 9 and 20 percentage points, not that you would know this due to the complete absence of media attention given to these surveys, the "biased" mainstream media have obviously not been doing their job right!

    Salmond's hubris will be met by Unionism, the same way Dewey's was by President Truman, the polls said Dewey would trounce Truman and the press in Chicago announced it prematurely, here is Truman holding up the newspaper announcing his defeat, after he had romped it

    There are not many polls saying the Yes campaign will win.
