indeed it was mate, long shall it continue,
COME ON YOU IIIRONSSS
You lot have spent most of this season slagging off your very own 'mickey mouser'.
I'm not sure if Hammers fans will be happy at being proved wrong again.
Since his return from suspension he's been a revelation but his form before that was not his best and I'm sure he would recognise that but his true strength of character has come through. Top bloke and love to see his chicken dance every week!
He let everybody down massively with the red cards and I honestly thought we should have sold him after the one at Fulham.
Got to give credit where it's due though, he's back among the goals and that alone makes him player of the month.
Fair play to him, and hope he can get us a few more and help us get some more wins before seasons end.
Gave a good interview on MOTD, explained how Sam served him some reality sandwiches, after the second red.
Has worked hard and shown a determined attitude to apply his abilities and has, at 31, shown he is not yet a burn-out.
With AC restored to the team, he should continue to be "influential".
He has f.ucked up,recognized the fact, worked hard to change the situation, changed the situation and publicly talked about it.
Gets my respect. Redemption is a wonderful thing.
Good to see Big Sam have an influence on SOMEONE. Seriously, it's great to see Kevin back and in such great form. The Chicken Dance Forever. COYIOriginally Posted by BlackDiamond
Red cards aside, I've never understood the stick people on here give him. People view him too much as a midfielder when he is, essentially, a back-up forward and is there to create and score goals - which he has always done for us, and is doing right now. Never mind his 'lack of work rate'. He's not a box-to-box dynamo, doesn't pretend to be and wasn't bought to be. Add to this his obvious ability to galvanise a team and create togetherness and he's comfortably the best signing we've made in the Big Sam era - and probably beyond that. I'd like to see the stats on how many points he has been directly responsible for, because I'd bet that he is head, shoulders, knees and toes above every other player in our team.
a decent summary imo!Originally Posted by Paulo_10
