The lovelyold London road school being demolished, i wish they could have taken it down brick by brick and rebuilt it somewhere else.

Disagree, Sevvy, now it was derelict it was an eyesore.

Coming from the East I never seen it as much as maybe yourself did, so maybe don't hold the place with as heavy a heart as maybe yourself did.

I,m old enough to remember the East end being a busy vibrant place with many shops pubs tenements factories etc, never a beautiful place, and the school just. Seemed to be one of the last parts of the old east end to be ripped away, and to be truthful i never really gave it much attention

Celtic Football Club and Glasgow City Council in partnership should be congratulated for all the work carried out in vastly improving the area in and around Celtic Park...the old London Rd School was not in use and a bit of an eyesore.

it was in use before dalriada street and the surrounding area was sold to sellik for 1 pound after being demolished, just as sellik desperately wanted the land for an extension to the girodome

A 'proddy school' was never going to last long in that area. It has now been ethnicly cleansed
