dont talk pysh, we dumped yous in the cup winners cup and fairs cities cup cos you couldny win the league.

moscow dynamo were pysh, they beat an unheard of turkish mob 1-0 on aggregate in the first round.

celtic also whitewashed rangers in the old firm games that season.

    3 times at ibrox in a month. 3-0, 2-0 and 3-2.

    then 2-1 at cp.

Is it true that corrupt UEFA changed the rules to let Rangers through on the away goals rule?

celtic have beat barcelona, ac milan and manure in recent years when all these clubs had a whole team of internationalists who had played at the sharp end of world cups and euros.

celtic beat intermilan, they were so ageing they made it all the way to the final. and we got to 2 european cup finals.

    yous didnt get to any.

the european cup winners cup could be won by any crap side, look at magdeburg, mechelen, dynamo tblisi etc.

if it helps to enhance your belief that winning the cup winners cup(cup runners up cup in your case) is a better achievement than winning the big one be my guest.

Ahem! Aberdeen 1983. A sublimely balanced team.
    Enough said.

    It's Aberdeen
    Aberdeen FC
    We're the greatest football team
    The world has ever seen.

I don't think anyone can argue with that.

The EC in 1967 was not the serious competition it became. Indeed European football in the 60s was an after thought.

A bit like the Tennents Sixes in the 80s. Hearts fans may disagree.
