How many points to stay up?

39 now after the win last night. But what will it take to be safe, 50?

Looks like 50. Late 40's has been the usual to stay up in recent seasons. - view external link

I would think 54. I can see Northampton winning their next game and that would leave them on 35 with 13 games to go, so 50 would be easily do-able for them with Chris wilder in charge. if they do, then it brings about 12 teams right into the mix.The other thing about this league is all the bottom teams regularly beat the top teams(like Plymouth 4-0 away at Fleetwood last night), hence the ridiculously tight table.

I think we need 5 more wins out of our last 13 games to be definitely safe.

    I reckon 52.
