But now the guy making the statement is a guy who would like to pick up the pieces for a pittance.

Love or loathe the Easdales, and I get that they're not everybody's cup of tea, they're putting money in.

Think it's quite sad they can't manage without a millionaire behind them, most other clubs get by.

rangers can never win unless they outspend celtic and everyone else, no matter where the money comes from.

they need to change thier attitude.

Revs, it's not often you say something I am in complete agreement with but you have here, especially the latter point.

What I took from King's statement is that, fundamentally, he thinks Rangers must spend much more than they ordinarily turnover to compete with Celtic, even when in the top division.

To fund this he's effectively saying Rangers need a warchest to delve into to vastly improve the squad they have.

I'm sure most Rangers fans would concede that they would need to strengthen their existing squad to be title challengers in the Premiership. What I don't understand, though, is why they need a huge investment to do that?

For all that Rangers fans would resent doing so, there can be no denying that the model Celtic have adopted for growing their commercial side and remaining comp

The problem with this King geezer is that he is a fan.

The last thing Sevco need at the moment is some irrational, pumped up chest beating idiot running the club.

The boy they have brought in as Chairman atually seems to have a cue about what he is doing and will probably be able to stop them going tits up again if he is given some time.

I wouldn,t be surprised if he quit after all this crap.

Unless the majority shareholders indicate that they are willing to be bought out then it will be civil war at Ibrox which sounds like a whole lot of fun.

Cant see the Bus Bros giving up their stake easily/without a fight (literally!!) or on the cheap but Wallace may feel enough is enough and want a big pay off...I don't think he has Rangersitis like Charlie Bhoy.

Could be administration and liquidation looming then King can pick up the carcass of Rangers on the cheap.

It gets better and funnier by the day.

yeah, but there were only 4539 fans at TWO, did you hear me, I said TWO games between St Johnstone and Motherwell this season

the buns are a funny bunch, they remind me of what's happening in Ukraine, funnily enough.

Lackey and easedales ain't stupid. Price hits rock bottom King offers sensible price more likely. A lot depends on any due dilligence on deals done and status of property (Ibrox). The days of this board are numbered one way or the other.
