Would be interesting to hear his ideas as far as a solution to this problem goes.

I wont be holding my breath.

Great stuff from Mr Lawwell delivered with his usual dignity and aplomb when discussing the challenges facing Celtic and Scottish Football.

His unrelenting work to try and get Celtic out of the financially poor environment of Scottish Football should be applauded by everyone.

Celtic need new challenges to fulfil their huge potential and are stagnating in the wee parochial world of Scottish Football.

    Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

The sticking point is the English don't want you.

After the No vote prevails we will all in essence be English so that may strengthen the bold Mr Lawwell's hand?

Other avenues may or may not be available in the future other than the EPL.

If not Celtic will completely dominate the league for the foreseeable future due to its huge financial advantage and the others will wilt and die trying to keep up their futile chase.

The sticking point is UEFA (the big clubs themselves) don't want anyone bar the big German, English, Italian and Spanish clubs carving up the loot.

Until they sort out how the money from tv is spread out, nothing will change. Dinna hud yer breath on that either.

How about some creative soutions to this festering hellproblem?

If Celtic win the league by , say, 23 points this season they should start next season on minus 23 points.

Or every time Celtic score next season the goalscorer gets sent off.

Celtic are only allowed to try and score from within the centre circle.

Celtic must play every home game in their street shoes which will be filled with nettles.

    I,m just getting started here

    See ya then.

Except many, maybe most,of your fans don't want to leave the cosseted comfort of the Scottish League, where your every whim and need is taken care of by the authorities.

Celtic's home advantage is to be curtailed. Their stadium is only to be half full for every domestic home game...
