Pancake Day

I hope you have all had your share of them today.. I have just polished off 14 medium sized ones all covered in Syrup and cream,wonderful for my cholestrol.. good job its only once a year.. ( a bit like my *** life )

I remember Shrove Tuesday used to be a big thing when i was a boy, my old mum used to fry up a pile of pancakes and put lots of butter and sugar on them but its hardly publicised these days and seems to dying out...a bit like fireworks night. I remember as a boy me and my mates used to collect anything that would burn for weeks to make a giant bonfire, life is so different now.
