I've had many a good night in Glesgas dodgy pubs..would rather have a good night in that pubs than have a false one up in Aberdeens west end where it can be full of pretentious people where the wallet most counts.and the girls come from the housing estates chasing the good life..
I have loads of time for the working class bars in Glasgow where the people you meet are more honest about themselves..and up for a laugh..

I remember a bar in Nitshill from the late 70s people from priesthill used to go up..I went up we my uncle Geordie a few times..
I seem to remember the bar clearing when he went in..
Aye, Wang, they took a lot of the Provanmill Inn punters in after that place was set on fire. It's nuts.
Like I said before, I wouldn't advise people to drink in any pub on Westmuir Street, Tollcross ROad or ********* Road, Maryhill Road also.
I've heard of that Royal Oak, but it's a side of the city I've never spent any time in.
