    Wickerman

How to ruin a good festival.

Get Dizzee ****ing rascal to headline.

Martha Reeves' voice has gone apparently. Mate went to see her last year.

Not interested in The Feeling either.

Last year was far better but I couldn't go. - view external link

I went to the first two Wickerman festivals. A wee bit oot the road but had a great time. I also knew the bouncer who was looking after SLF and he got me backstage to meet Bruce Foxton and Jake Burns. Great weekend and there's always an alternative if you don't fancy the main stage.

PS. I had never seen The Damned before and they blew me away. Outstanding.

I'm not a huge fan of festivals - prefer just going to see one act.

T in the Park in '94 was good though - Oasis in the tent and then Primal Scream headlining. Remember Mansun being excellent at T in the Park in '96 or '97 but have only been back once since.

The Damned are brilliant, even better when Rat Scabies is involved.

The only decent thing I've ever seen at a festival (apart from lassies pyshing on the fence) was Beyonce at T in the Park, I was pilled oot ma nut at the time
