    Holt's exclusion?

I realise that it must be frustrating for Higgins to be on the bench - he is an excellent player but Dowie has been playing well and that is a consequence of having three very strong central defenders.

Holt is as close to an automatic pick as we have and he is by far our best option at left back . It may be that holt had a knock or a bug but that is the only plausible explanation for his exclusion or does the manager think otherwise???

I don't think there is anything sinister about Holt being left out of yesterday's starting line-up. The rumour was that he had a slight knock. The Manager has had the opportunity to drop Holt in favour of Higgins whenever he wanted but has stuck with the recognised first choice left-back for most games this season.

Holt had a poor game against Hamilton
Higgins is not a left back but did well yesterday.
Wonder who will get the start this week.
