    the people of perth imagine themselves to be above football and its likes, hence the st johnstone attendances, perth is , just like edinburgh and aiberdeen, an english colony.

    Per head of town/city population St Johnstone are one of the best supported teams in Scotland.

    one could argue the whole of scotland is irish if you look far enough back into history, the story is one of constant migration across and back from the irish sea.
