    Who's starting the spuds thread?

    It won't be me, but if Friedel plays it's a given that bile will be sock filling this afternoon. Having a septic play would suit his somewhat bemusing campaign of having us relocate to the USofA

    ...and "oh when that Saints" is our song

    1 - 0 J Rod. Good finish and no impact on the atmosphere either since only the away fans are making a noise.

    Much better first half than I feared when I heard about the missing players earlier in the week. COYS.

    Not so good second half with a kick in the teeth at the end. Thankfully not that important league wise but a carbon copy of the game at SMS. Looked like Spuds put more into midfield to break up our game. All part of the learning curve.

    One big plus must be yet more progress of players like Chambers in the second half and JWP throughout.
