A solitary goal scored by talented midfielder Jordan Cousins scored on the 81st minute against managerless Nottingham Forest gave the Addicks another away boost and some hope in the fight against relegation and also another very welcome clean sheet, despite the difficulty in scoring goals.

The game was delayed due to the addicks team ooach being stuck in traffic and new manager Jose Riga paid tribute to the referee and Forest for agreeing to delay the kick off by 15 minutes.

Sordell had hit the post on 20 minutes Jamie Mackie and Darius Henderson had also had good opportunities for Forest. Cousins volleyed over on 64 minutes before making amends the second time around picking up Jonathan Obika's effort on the rebound. - view external link
