Sorry, slightly off topic, but interesting about John McGoverns mum.

    Did you know her?

Lovely lady, I knew her and her husband ( Johns step-dad)

Well I can't claim to know her but I somehow ended up at a party at their house in the early seventies and ended up crashing out on the floor and she made everyone bacon butties the next morning. She seemed very kind and friendly.

Sounds like it was a good night, seventies bit before my time mate.

I think they lived on Stenson Rd in those days?

Yeah, she was really nice and so was her second husband. She had other children, apart from John McGovern who was from her first marriage.

    Good people.

Read the posts again Polish. Do any of them say it's a bad appointment? Most say "wait and see", "a bit tactically inept but passionate" etc.

Now, there are 4 games gone. There are another 40-odd to go. You might be in danger of shooting off a bit early if you're not careful. Blackpool were top after 5 games last season and finished close to the trap door. So I'd give it a while if I were you. And yes, we are getting pretty bored with you lot. You make it too easy to poke fun at you. There's no challenge in it any more.
