Surprised at that, especially as we could back soon in 2 games. Thought it could be very bad as far as sales went, too many people in our town don't need an excuse to sit at home instead of watching us and the eggmen, so expensive tickets and daft ko times are perfect for stayaways.

Still however many are there, the game is all that matters

A week ago we had sold just over 12,000. I wouldn't there'll be many more going that haven't already got them so it'll probably be about 13,000 in the end.

The initial allocation of tickets went all the way round the back to block 519. Some of those blocks have since been given to the Gunners so we are only selling up to block 511. The top level, including the cheap ones you mention, is pretty much sold out, but we got nowhere near 13,000 cheap ones to sell. Although the top section is close to a sell out the bottom sections behind the goals have plenty tickets left. The dear seats at the bottom down the side have all been sold.

thought it was more like 22,500 as the press slated us for 'failing to sell 10k out of an allocation of 32000 '

FACTS ... we have sold all top tier , sold all behind the goal in lower tier apart from lose seats ... we have sold no less than 16,000 !
