    Choosing a Pompey team by numbers.

    All these figures for every player are taken from The News Sports Mail (hereinafter referred to as the Football Mail). They include all Cup matches this season and the abandoned match (as a draw). These statistics only include matches, unless otherwise stated, where the player started the match.

    Longest winning sequence: 2 matches. Several players.
    Longest not losing sequence: 9 matches by Moutaouakil and J Devera.
    Maximum points sequence (to include not more than one loss): 21 points Moutaouakil and J. Devera.
    Longest drawing sequence: 4 Agyemang.
    Longest losing sequence: 7 matches Connolly and Andy Barcham.
    Longest not winning sequence: 12 Andy Barcham.
    Highest average points per game (includes Cup games; minimum 6 matches): 2.33 pts Marquis & Wallace (run of 6 each); 2.14 pts Holmes (7), Moutaouakil (6), Devera (6).
    Players who have never lost whilst starting for Pompey: Marquis (6 matches); Hollands (2); Webster (1)
