    Wenger Lining Up A Move For John Stones?



    Arsenal eye summer move for Everton defender John Stones.


    Arsenal could miss out on a Champions League place to Everton this season, but Arsene Wenger is lining up a move for one of their best young players.

    19-year-old defender John Stones has broken into the Toffees side this season under Roberto Martinez, and in the absence of Phil Jagielka, he has established himself as first-choice with a string of impressive performances.

    The latest of which came in the 3-0 win over Arsenal at the weekend, and the Gunners have now stepped up their interest in the player.

    Stones was watched by Arsenal scouts whilst at Barnsley, before eventually joining Everton, and Wenger knows all about his progress.

    It's now thought that the Frenchman has instructed his scouts to keep tabs on Stones for the reminder of the campaign, as he plots a possible January raid.

    If we get champions league, we will need players like young stones and will be in a better position to turn down even a stupid amount of money for him, we need to build a team of good young players not sell them.
