The details are revealed in the latest club accounts which have just been released to shareholders and obtained by the Kilmarnock Standard.
They show how the debt-clearing deal also saw former chairman Jamie Moffat cancel an AŁ885,000 loan to the club.
The information is laid out in the annual accounts are the first real indication of the figures behind the secretive deal which saw Mr Johnston declare the a€śdebt-freea€ť after clearing its near AŁ9.7 million loans and overdrafts.
