sad news indeed! Sympathies and thoughts to Doreen and his girls - certainly a stalwart of the Tartan Army as Battlebus Commander and enjoyed his football (and an odd beverage or 3) to the full. Will certainly be a miss - just adding to that band of QoS loyal pranksters in the light blue of beyond -

Echo your sentiments Billy - Tom was a great Queens and Scotland supporter and will be sadly missed.

Tom wasn't looking so well last time I spoke to him and mentioned that his tartan army days were over. He'll be sadly missed but seemed to make the best of his time while he was here.

I first met Tom through areas of our work, and I know that his hard work and dedication benefited many less fortunate than ourselves over many years.

    R.I.P Tom.

Article in the Daily Mail today about Tom who unfortunately became ill at his daughter's wedding in Skye.

Tom was always a friendly face in the Palmy bar along with his wife post match blethering.

Rest in peace my old friend and we hope your beloved Queens do the business in the pay - offs ...

Nice tribute by Tom's fellow long - time Queens fan and Tartan Army foot soldier Kevin Donnelly who has made pin badges to sell on the day of the funeral with proceeds going to Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland. Tom will be cremated at Mortonhall Crematorium in Edinburgh on Friday at 2pm with a wake to be held in the Radical Road pub.
