I live about a mile from Wimbledon's old Plough Lane ground in an area quite rightly dominated by Wimbledon fans. That is AFC Wimbledon 1 point and 1 place below us. There is no talk round here or in local papers that they are now safe and there hasn't been for a little while now, they just presume they are, the draw against Newport didn't draw comments about it 'all but securing their Division 4 future'. Just shows, we have been flirting with relegation for a little while whereas they have been mid-table and perceptions are different.

Where's that Algernon? Are you down by Colliers Wood or up on Garrat Lane? Or up Wimbledon Park way?

I used to pass the ground every day when I had my office in Wandsworth West Hill, then they moved to Kingstonian's ground, so now my nearest ground is Fulham's practice/Reserves ground @ Motspur Park or Chelski's training ground @ Stoke D'Abernon.

I don't count Gander Green Lane for Sutton Utd.

Colliers Wood, east of the High Street, nearest pub now the Charles Holden after the Provenance closed. I pass Motspur Park on my back way to the A3, I suppose my nearest ground now is Tooting and Mitcham's.
