    No TV Money From The Play=offs ...

    According to today's Sunday Sun, broadcasters will be allowed to show both legs of the play off final for the Premiership spot for free. The TV companies argued that the play off games were part of the original TV deal for the SPFL and the SPFL have agreed at least for this season.

    Yes one leg to Sky and the other to BT Sport. It is also alleged that the SFA are funding the SPFL to the tune of 1.5m. partly in order to make up for the loss of play - off money.

    Ah! So the play offs are part of the league campaign when it comes to TV but not when it comes to season tickets.
    I don't have a season ticket and do agree that they are an extra (which season ticket holders would not have paid for on the off chance at the start of the season) BUT gie us mega-dosh if we get to the final.
