depends on saturday;
celtic and motherwell win, then want utd to win to allow chance of 2nd place showdown. Otherwise, draw and close of 3rd place.
What result do we want in this game
1 Aberdeen to win...this would more or less guarantee us a European spot.
2 Dundee United win ,this "could" depending on our result on Saturday, make it a "Showdown" against them when we meet, for second spot
3 A draw...not sure what effect this would have.

I agree all depends on saturday and the result we get and aberdeen and dundee utd results so will answer that question on saturday night perfect results would be us win celtic win inverness win if that happens on sat would be perfect and would want dundee uts to beat dons but if saints aberdeen and dundee utd win then i would want aberdeen to win as 2nd would have gone. Sure none of these will turn out exactly like that but time will tell
Yep, depends entirely on Saturday's results. Securing third is the first priority.
Only result that matters is ours and based on the p1sh we are watching there ain't no point bothering about other teams results.Originally Posted by wellowell
Just concentrate on our own game. Get that one out the way then look at the other results. Get third secured as quickly as possible, but to do that we'll have to defend a helluva lot better than we did on saturday.
You mean than we have done all season. Saturday was not an isolated incident of utterly p1ss poor defending and awareness.Originally Posted by wellin

Unlike others, I'm confident we'll bounce back on Saturday and secure 3 points. Last week's absolute drubbing will prove to be the wake-up call they needed.
I agree i think we will win tomorrow as we are much more dangerous at home these days and although i think we will concede we just have to make sure we score more than them and we are capable of doing that
All I want is 3rd place secured as soon as poasible. Happy to forget any slim chance of 2nd as that will give us a bye into the 3rd qualifying round and probably a seeded team. 3rd place gives an earlier start but at least a chance to return to beating a team in Europe.
6 qualifications in 7 years would be a fantastic achievement though, so hopefully we will be switched on from the first whistle tomorrow.
