Trophy Presentation And Lap Of Homour

What a difference a year makes, contrast to end of last season with the way the players conducted themselves. There looks a real bond between all the players and coaching staff.Video below, emotional scenes at the end with Elokobi and Edwards.

Should say "lap of honour" in thread title - view external link

Seeing big George at the end of that video shows how much the club means to him.

Yep. Glad that his last day with Wolves could at least be part of a celebration. Sometimes the nice guys do finish first

Big thank you for the link, Gav'. Have just watched it. Viewed from the other side of the world, the emotion and elation on the faces of all concerned was a joy to see. A wonderful moment for us all, but for our young team, a day they will never, ever forget. What a wonderful farewell they gave George, too. At the end when I saw how choked-up he was I could not stop my eyes from welling over(silly, emotional old fool that I am). It's a great time to be a Wolf...Oh! Happy Days !!!

Thanks for the link Gav. Not being able to be there, it meant a lot to me, Tears welling up as well, I'm sure I was not the only one. Here's to a good season coming up.

Just noticed I am an international now. What a way to celebrate.

Have to say the ending is a moving part of yesterday's celebration. It shows how much Wolves as a club means to Elokobi, he may move elsewhere, but i don't think he will forget his time at the club.

My mate said to me, "If they had any balls they would play the liquidator now " sadly it wasn't to be, Still great day, but nothing on the QPR day when we went up to the prem! but I think/hope this team (+2-3) can do the same, now that would be a special day !
