World Cup 2014 Predictor Tournament

OK Guys,

I'm starting a tournament on here (just a bit of fun) to see who is the best predictor! Tried it on the GOT forum but without much success.

I need a minimum of four entrants (including myself, so three more) if this is going to go ahead.

The Telegraph has a wallchart predictor whereby you predict the scores of all 64 World Cup games. You then have the option of sharing the predictions via a unique URL.

Spot on prediction = 5 Points
Correct result, wrong score = 2 Points
Wrong prediction = Minus 1 Point

I'll do it, but I don't see the point until the apparent bugs are fixed. I mean, what the **** is the deal with the last 16? teams that have lost, or are not even there, are going through to the next round

So I'm in, but I'm leaving it for a short while to see if they correct the errors. Talking of errors WKBlue, I've correct the link in your post because it was showing that your predictions page didn't exist.

Just as an extra twist, I'll also add "multipliers" to the rules.

For the group stage everyone gets 1 Ace and 5 Jokers.

That way if you are trailing badly and looking at elimination, you can play it last minute.

*Ace = multiplies score by 20
*Joker = multiplies score by 5

Be sure to nominate games in good time!

Participants can enter at any stage, but obviously it's a lot less hassle if we have numbers before the World Cup starts.
