Not a classic yesterday but a fantastic awayday and great way to end the campaign for this year.

Stuart McCall's gameplan worked just but it was a close run thing. The Dons had loads of pressure and one or two close things but overall possession didn't translate into goal scoring attempts. Lasley and Reid must take credit for protecting our defence. Maybe a reversal of our CIS Cup loss to Aberdeen earlier in the season.

I've looked at our goal several times and despite what Richard Gordon and his mate Derek McInnes might think it wasn't a clear cut foul. A soft foul...maybe? However neither mentioned Vernon's blatant jersey tug on Hutchinson just seconds before. Now that was a clear penalty, but it wasn't given.

It wasn't quite karma for us but Aberdeen weren't overly fussed how they got results against us earlier this season, so why should we be now?

Credit to the Dons fans we met after the game, who despite being disappointed, congratulated us.
