Did you post that out of desperation?[/quote]

I posted it to show the illogical way many unionists try to show themselves as international looking philanthropists, when they are really just Brit Nats as opposed to Scot Nats. There's still a border, there's still a place where things stop for them too.

As regards helping folk in Birmingham / Sheffield etc, how about we show them an example of a non-permanent austerity model, so that they can see, from their nearest neighbours (and cousins) that it does not HAVE to be the Eton clique controlling

For months the Yes campaign have been looking for reasons why they are going to fail on Sept 18th. Project Fear was created for this very reason. The simple fact is Project Guess is not good enough for most Scots. We need a bit more than "it will be ok, don't worry."

I'm a Unionist but will admit it's looking closer than I thought it would be. I think if Alex Salmond wasn't SNP leader then there's every chance the Yes vote would win on the 18th.

Salmond's political future is at stake and it shows. I don't think it will be as close as you think.

You are bizarrely ignoring the fact that The UK has been a country for several ***dred years sharing burdens, struggles, responsibilities and common cultures, values and traditions.

I'd rather live in Bearsden than Bradford.
