    Vellios, Springthorpe both leave

    Two down...

"The 22-year-old, who moved to Goodison Park from Greek side Iraklis Thessaloniki for a fee in the region of 250,000, did not make a single first-team appearance this season.

Goalkeeper Mason Springthorpe, 19, has also left Everton after the expiry of his contract."

Shock horror. Never saw that coming

"He's probably in a position now where, at a very young age still, he needs a new challenge and a new environment to show what he can do"

Well Blackpool gave him a chance to show what he could do, and he ****ed that up too :/

Yeah and massively messed it up from what I heard. It appears one tap Moyes left running was the players who he knew were never good enough but still on the wage bill for two+ years then shipped out on loan. They were never going to be good enough for us. We seem to be getting the end dregs of them all now.
