It may do. It certainly increases the likelihood of him going out on loan somewhere again. Hopefully here.
Does Gardner going to WBA help our chances of signing Thorne?

I thought Craig Gardner is a centre half and George Thorne is a midfielder.
I don't see it making much difference to us. If we go up I think we will get him on a perminant deal. If we don't I think he will stay in the prem
Craig Gardner is central midfielder he can play different positions if needed.Originally Posted by chris311080
10 players left WBA last week and they still have to appoint a new manager. Any speculation could be premature until a new manager is in place.
Yes but hopefully that could play to our advantage as the new manager won't know just how talented he is!Originally Posted by blackandwhite56

My apologies.. I must have been thinking of Anthony Gardner ex spurs centre half :/
or Uphill Gardner who used to play at the back for Brighton

Of course because incoming PL managers dont do their homework on current player, especially when 10 have left ... I see!

yes I was thinking that - new managers never assess their squad's abilities: just sell them without thinking about it. See if we could make a sneaky bid of 25,000 for Robin van Persie as van Gaal probably wont think he's any good either.
