Sam Rush said we aren't looking at lower league players last night - Championship and above, households, and one from overseas

I don't think we need a pacy forward btw. we need someone to compete with martin i.e. a good strong big lad who can hold it up and link play.

going back to getting an improvement on Jamie ward, I think Anthony Pilkington from Norwich would be a fantastic signing to play that position. technically brilliant and a good eye for goal. not sure what his wages are but rumours are that he's not happy there.

    re: Who would you sign?

Since Wisdom appears to be back at 'Pool, we need a RB as priority #1.

Fingers crossed Sam gets the Thorne deal done, and that will be a serious result and a sound investment

IMO, I would like to see a quality CB arrive. At the moment, no pressure on Bucko or Keogh. I also look back at how many goals are conceded from Keogh lapses, and I dont just mean Wembley with that. An upgrade here along with quality at RB will really tighten up a defence that at times was our weak link.

I would try to move Sammon out and bring in a viable replacement. For me, would even have Mason ahead of the Fish!

As for the rest...keep what we have. Top goal scorers...say no more

    Cheers

    re: Who would you sign?

nick powell in on loan would be good

danny graham would offer direct competition to martin

someone mentioned chris wood too but I doubt Leicester will be looking to offload him

I agree - we need to offload sammon

I also agree that rb is priority - don't think we will find better than wisdom

as for the released lists from premiership teams - didn't see anything too exciting so maybe we will be looking at younger players and definitely those who don't really feature

    in steve we trust
