    Considering the compensation payment, it does seem to be excessive. The guys highest La Liga finish was EIGHTH.

    Evening BD, Spurs are a top 6 team that has in recent years probably over achieved when considering the financial clout of the elite top 4/5. If we were to finish EIGHTH it would not be the end of the world, although some would see it that way!

    What price your mob finishing EIGHTH?

    Yes davee 8th in the championship looks like a good result for the Spammers in 2 seasons time!


    As for the thread we shd ALL get behind MP unlike we didn't do with AVB!

    6th wd be good for a 1st season and then kick on from there and make a top 3 challenge where we belong!

    I didnt expect many new faces, quality NOT quantity.

    "Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino does not expect to make many signings before the transfer window closes.

    Spurs are the only Premier League club yet to sign a player this summer having spent around AŁ100million on seven players last year in a bid to offset the sale of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid.

    Not all of those signings paid off, with Roberto Soldado and Erik Lamela in particular enduring difficult first campaigns in England, but Pochettino hopes they will benefit from that experience and is happy with the players at his disposal.
