Ok bit of a non starter coz I know he's long gone but I think Miles Addison, under Steve Mc's coaching could've done a job in CM holding & wouldn't have cost a penny (except wages of course). I seem to remember him having one of his best games against Man Utd in the league cup in that position.Shame he's gone.Anyone know where he ended up?

Can't do much with a player who's injured all the time... he's still at Bournemouth but spent half of the season on loan at Rotherham - played six games.

Rapid, but he did also include Rowan Ince in his list!!!

Cork a very good player, I grant that. May be he'll be getting his chance at Soton tho next season.

For me, everything crossed we can do the biz and get GT!

You had never heard of Bamford, Wisdom or Thorne before they came to Derby??

    Not a football follower then?[/quote]

Guilty as charged I'm afraid Tricky. Season ticket holder since the late 70's and having been to 40 other league (and a dozen non league) grounds (not a record by any means - just saying) count for nothing. Because I'm not aware of all the premier youngsters out on loan means I can't be a true football follower I guess. Let me know next time you have a valuable contribution to make to our forum.

ince looks ok but nothing special when I've watched him. he's tough and strong but he's a destroyer. he'll win the ball and pass it 5 yards. I've not seen any range of passing ability on display.

don't get me wrong we could do a lot worse but he's probably more similar to Eustace than thorne imho.

I also imagine they would value him pretty highly.
