We negotiated with them in the 70s I beleive over the Islands but pulled out and refused to continue.

Is there not a better case for handing Gibraltar back to the Spanish? How would we feel if the French, for example, occupied Lands End? I know some jokers will say they don't care much about Lands End but, how would we all feel about a foreign power claiming sovereignty over part of mainland Britain?

Most territories occupied in any part of the world, was attained by military conquest.

What would you do with the Falkland Islanders, the Gibraltans, The Spanish in Morocco or the Canaries?
How about the native American Indians in the good old US of A?

Should Israelis be booted into the Mediterranean sea?
