Any chance of a link, Sweeney? I can't find one on YouTube and the advert is not shown over here.:/

I can't see how that advert would encourage anyone to buy Aldi's product over any other. Sadly, it does not reflect well on Graham Taylor either in what happens in the ad, or on his judgement for taking part in it. Pretty grim stuff from the marketing men!

I can only assume they made him an offer he couldn't refuse!

Maybe this one will help change your mind Woking. The Graham Taylor one is one with a bit of added humour. - view external link

Thanks for doing the linkage 71...

What's so bad is the delayed reaction with the cider... I can only think they did that take as a joke within the joke.

Or is that just being kind ???

Only Jack Douglas can do that move perfectly - view external link

I liked that one, Gav. The parrot was just what you would expect - repetitive and interesting.

The ad. was simple, effective and amusing - a total contrast to the Graham Taylor one. At least the parrot retained it's dignity!

    Thanks for the link, '71!

I can only assume that Taylor did it tongue-in-cheek with the confidence that allows one to laugh at oneself...if that is the case then I applaud his high level of self-esteem! - view external link
