    Tim Sherwood for WBA

According to their Mad site Tim Sherwood has been approached, and agreed to come, to the Baggies as their new head coach. Brum papers are stating as such though Express & Star have stopped short of confirming the deal as finalized!

Any thoughts fellow posters? - view external link

It's a gamble, only had a short spell in charge of Spurs. It's one thing managing/coaching a ready assembled multi-million pound side, but trying to lift a team that struggled under two head coaches and one caretaker will take some doing.

    Exactly 71.
Sherwood plays to the typical fan, he says all what they want to hear, the verging on tears emotional show will always work.

    Who knows?
From a big club like Spurs to a small club punching above their weight?
Good luck to him I suppose.

He didn't impress me in his time at Spurs and I doubt he will impress me at Albion.

Dragging on a bit, those on Bennie Mad are waiting for news of Sherwood's appointment. I think it could be a smokescreen, Keith Downing will be revealed as the new coach
