I'm not old, getting on yes, old, no, ...but
time was when:
cricketers had their whites
tennis players had their whites
I was watching clips of a football match from years ago...
the crowd was :
heaving, made up of men (mainly older ones), most wearing a cap, most of them smoking, not a woman in sight...
how quickly things change.
refer back to this in 50 years time and the one thing that won't have changed is...there'll be a war somewhere, my bet's the Middle East...
