Spot on Ev. That's not the sort of thing you want to see in the opening game of a World Cup - the match being decided by the ref.

The game changed as soon as the ref awarded the penalty. Only thing in his mind, award the spot kick. You can bet if Modric had elbowed/put a arm in Neymar's face, he would have been off.

Most of the above comments and views are correct imo, especially Eve's regarding the Croatian keeper but, the real problem the Croats have is they have no fire-power.
