Doesn't he have a day job in a bank?

This is rather saddening in my opinion :-( I don't blame him for leaving at all, it's a good opportunity for him on a full time wage. For us... I think I shall go for a good few drinks and leave contemplating that for tomorrow!

Petrie for continuity? Or do we need a change and go with someone new, who has more contacts in the game, how about a player manager that plays central defence, who is at the twilight of his career?!

It is very saddening, but with pre-season training starting very soon and the 1st friendly in 15 days, the club must move fast.

I don't blame the boss for taking the full time offer, good luck to him and thank you for the great memories...

Sorry to see Paul go. It has been a very entertaining time with him in charge. He couldn't turn down the Aberdeen offer.

On a positive note, we should be well placed for some good loan players from the Dons.

Career assistant, good coach knows the squad and the club, and why the hell not, not sure what his day job has to do with anything

Stewart Petrie is NOT the answer, too many times Sheerin has looked for advice/support/motivation and in my opinion he has fallen short.
After the relative success of the Sheerin era, the thoughts of the board might well be swayed to appoint another young player manager who has a decent pedigree.
One piece of waning advice is that we cannot afford to get it horribly wrong as relegation into the highland league starts this coming season!!!
So on that note Colin Cameron wouldn't be a bad choice...

Thanks peanut for the time spent as our custodian, and as steeplejack says the 23rd April 2011 was indeed a day to savour.

    What's wrong with Cameron?

Barry Ferguson would be better though.
