Alonso from the penalty spot after Diego Costa was tripped by de Vrij. For me the Dutch defender did catch Costa, but when in the area players often make more of it than most.

Yet another Joke of a penalty awarded, this time to Spain.

if you want to see everything that is wrong with this world cup, and future world cups, here we have it. The pundits lauding Bousqets who is the most sliest, cheating, diving piece of $hit that ever pulled on a shirt and the useless [but trendy looking] referee who FIFA gave the game to . Dreadful!

Should be 2-0, David Silva tried to lift the ball over Cillessen, but the keeper saves it. 1-1 Van Persie header, what a goal and what a ball from Blind.

Probably one of the best and most outrageous headed goals I've ever seen, the game is living up to it's billing I wish the Refereeing would!

The ref only sees the penalty incident in real time, when we watch on the tele, we see the super slow motion replay, from the referee's point it looked like Costa was tripped. On replay, Costa's just trying to put his foot to the ground. I still think it's debatable, but i can see why he gave it, unlike the one awarded to Brazil last night.

2-1 Holland, Robben with the goal, great touch to take the ball out the air, held off both Ramos and Pique to finish.
