I did look like that in the second going left to right and no real invention to get through!

Did you see Argentina last night ... they looked more like the England we know. Nervous until the got a second goal then complacent and show boating and then messing up atthe back at the end and putting themselves under pressure!

What do people want just results to get to a quarter with our usual stuttering performances or go for it and see if we can entertaina bit?

lets be honest, we're not gonna win it so we may as well go out with a bang, whether that be the group stages or quarters.

I thought England were terrific the other night. it's the first time in donkeys the England players have played like they do week in week out for their clubs. we had a right go and were very unlucky not to get something out the game. we were easily the better side.

loved the pace that sterling provides. thought he had a great game.

I don't have to stay up half the night.
The game will be so boring - the first bore draw of the World Cup. We'll all be nodding off by the 62nd minute. [/quote]

You couldn't have been more wrong. Class game.

Ill take that, you have a future if you play well. If we scrape through playing ****e like we did in SA then there is no future (other than the immediate one)in that. To be able to pass it and look comfortable on the ball is a must, this bodes well.

I've been reading about how Belgium have improved things and they have got youth teams to play 4-3-3 and forget about the results just so they play better football and as a team!

So do we write this world cup and the next Euros off?

Or has the population of English football supporters demand for instant success become to embedded?

It feels to me like england fans just want to see us play good football and go for it, and they will accept any losses that go with that for now. England fans (and roy) seem to be wising up.
